Journalists settle
PA Auckland Daily newspaper journalists in Auckland and Hamilton have accepted an 8.5 per cent offer on wages and most allowances. The settlement includes
additional payments for allowing new technology in the industry, although an agreement is not yet signed. It is the same package accepted last month by the New Zealand (Except Northern) Journalists’ Union.
