Firm market for cattle and lambs

PA Gore A good-sized yarding of cattle met with a firm market at the weekly stock clearance sale held at the Charlton Saleyards. The cattle offered were all in good condition and this was reflected in the prices received. The top price for oxen was $635 for a Friesian, sold by Reid Farmers on account of Mr E. D. Two-tooths sold from $19.75 to $24.25 for the tops while average animals sold from $15.25 to $19.50. The lighter two-
