Strategy session
Industrial reporter Meat Workers’ Union officials will meet today and tomorrow to discuss industrial action in support of their award claims. The union’s national secretary, Mr Jack Scott, said the union was consid-
ering taking some form of action throughout the country in five weeks time, when works were at full stretch. "The best form of action would be a national stoppage at all works,” Mr Scott said yesterday.
No dates for conciliation have been set down.
