Public Notices APPLICATION FOR LICENCE UNDER THE PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS AND SECURITY GUARDS ACT 1974 TAKE NOTICE that I, Alarmall Security Systems Ltd, of 299 Mt Pleasant Road, Christchurch, have applied to the Registrar of Private Investigators and Security Guards, (C/o District Court, Auckland) for a Security Guard’s licence. Any person wishing to object to the grant of my application must give written notice of his objection to the Registrar so as to reach him not later than one month after the date of the first publication of this notice. No objection can be made otherwise than on one of the grounds set out In Section 23 (2) of the Act. A copy of the notice of objection must be served on me, at 299 Mt Pleasant Road, Christchurch, within seven days after the notice is filed with the Registrar. III Central Canterbury (ll Electric Power HI Board CENTRAL CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD RAISING OF LOAN PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board at a meeting held on December 15,1987, passed the following resolution: "That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon It by the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956 and their various amendments and regulations made thereunder, the Central Canterbury • Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of special order as follows: 1. For the purpose of constructing electric works and line extensions in the Board’s district and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925 and Its amendments and by all other powers and authorities, the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby authorises the raising of a special loan of up to two million dollars ($2,000,000) for a term of ten years. 2. The security for the loan shall be a special rate of such amount each year upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Board’s district as may in that year provide sufficient revenue for the payment of the annual charges In respect of the loan plus ten per cent thereof, which rate shall continue until the loan'is paid off. 3. That public notice be given that the above resolution will be submitted for confirmation by the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board at a meeting to be held In the Board’s office, Hornby, on the sixteenth day of February, 1988, at 1 p.m. 4. That pursuant to Section 34, paragraph 2, of the Local Authorities Loan Act, 1956, public notice be given that a poll of the electors Is required to be taken If fifteen per cent of the electors of the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board so demand, by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the Board and received at the office of the Board not later than 9 a.m. on the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution to raise the special loan.” Dated at Hornby this 15th day of December, 1987.
