Car rolls off ramp, kills man
PA Dunedin A father of two died in Oamaru on Sunday evening when his car rolled off a ramp and crushed him. He was Neville Andrew Shields
aged 39, of Oamaru.
He was working on the car when it left the ramp and pinned him to the ground. He was found by his wife about an hour later at 10.45 p.m. The police, St John Ambulance and the Fire Service were called and freed his body. Mr Shields played rugby for North Otago in the 19705.
