TRADE UNION EDUCATION AUTHORITY EDUCATION CO-ORDINATORS APPLICATIONS are called for 2 National positions as Coordinators. In all appointments preference will be given to persons with recent unlon/union education experience and to those with Interestt/experlence in one or more of the following: • Deslgnlng/wrltlng union education resource materials. • Union education Issues for women; • Training in union education skills. Knowledge/experience of the education system in New Zealand; and/or an understanding of industrial law would also be valuable qualifications. All staff are expected to have a proven ability in education or communication wtlh working people, and to have an ability and Interest in initiating affirmative action education with groups such as women workers, Maori workers and workers of Pacific Island origins. All National Co-ordinators have both regional and subject specialist responsibilities.
