Wage rise for photo lab. staff
PA Auckland Several hundred photographic processing staff throughout New Zealand will receive an 8.5 per cent increase in wages and allowances from January 29. The staff, who process amateur film in laboratories, gained the increase in an award settlement this week. The president of the Printers’ Union, Mr Alan Ryan, said the settlement included improvements in long-term service payments and reclassifications*.
