Renoufs seen together at family funeral
NZPA-AAP Sydney Sir Frank Renouf and his estranged wife, Susan, arrived together at a small private ceremony in Sydney yesterday to pay their respects to Susan’s father, a former Victorian Liberal member of Parliament, . the late Sir John Rossiter. Sir John, who held the seat of Brighton for 21 years, died in Sydney on Monday. He is survived by his second wife, Heather, and his two children. Lady Renouf and Sir
Frank arrived in a chauffeur driven Rolls-Royce and joined Lady Rossiter and other members of the Rossiter family to honour Sir John. Sir Frank and Lady Renouf had been in the midst of a bitter marriage rift until newspaper reports this week claimed they had been reconciled. Yesterday, a lawyer for the New Zealand financier declined to comment on the reported reconciliation. Mr Paul McCann told AAP it would be unethical for him to reveal information given
in confidence by his client. Lady Renouf had been living at her country retreat in Mittagong since walking out of the couple’s Point Piper mansion, Paradis Sur Mer, late last year. She was seen arriving at the mansion in a Rolls - Royce on Tuesday afternoon after her father’s death. After yesterday’s ceremony, the couple left again in Sir Frank’s Rolls Royce to attend the cremation at the Northern Suburbs crematorium.
