Appeal withdrawal to be considered
A sub-committee of the West Coast District Committee will meet on Tuesday to consider the appeal, and the subsequent withdrawal' of the appeal, against the decision of the Greymouth Jockey Club’s judicial committee to suspend Gary Williams for one riding day. Williams was suspended on Saturday, January 16, lodged an appeal the next day and then sought to withdraw the appeal on Monday, January 18.
