Lowe picked to coach
PA London The former Kiwi mentor, Graham Lowe, was surprised to be chosen as coach of the Rest of the World rugby league side because he thought his international days were over. Lowe said yesterday the Australian league had advised him of his selec-
tion to guide the side which will play them at Sydney in the country’s bicentenary celebrations in July next year. His successor as Kiwf coach, Tony Gordon, and the Great Britain mentor; Malcolm Reilly, will also be on the selection panel with Lowe and the Austra-; Han convener, Ken Arthurson.
