Clapperton to ride at Washdyke

PA Ttasru Waveriey apprentice, Kim Clapperton, who made such a fine impression on her first visit to Timaru in October, will ride at the Timaru Racing Club’s meeting at Washdyke again on Monday. Clapperton’s employer trainer Kevin Gray, said she had hardly been home in the last two and a half weeks, because many clubs had requested her services. Despite his 55-horse team, Gray is only too willing to support the smaller clubs by allowing Clapperton to ride. Clapperton will be reunited with Tawlist on which she won during her last visit to Timaru. She has also been engaged for the fine mare, Ruff.
