The milk takeover
New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company has won its take-over battle for Auckland Co-operative Milk Producers, Ltd, the country’s largest town milk supplier. More than 75 per cent of the company’s 120 farmer shareholders had accepted NZCDC’s bid. The other bidder, a consortium of northern dairy companies, has withdrawn its offer.
