Headline offends

Sir,—l found it deeply offensive to be confronted with the name of Christ used blasphemously as the headline of the article by Dave Wilson (November 30). The Lord Jesus Christ is the person whom I, and many thousands in this city, love and honour above all else and I object to any part of his name being used as a common swearword in a newspaper. I hope it will never happen again.—Yours, etc.,

MOYA OXLEY. November 30,1987.

[The headline, not produced by the writer of the column, was not intended as a blasphemy, though it could be taken this way, and was by a number of readers. We aoolosise.—Fditor.l
