Property recovered
Stolen property, including office equipment, silverware and fur clothing, was recovered by the police from a vacant Worcester Street flat last evening. The fur items consisted of jackets, hats and stoles, all of which appeared to be second-hand.
The police recovered a Ricoh facsimile machine and two typewriters. Other items included silver forks and spoons, all of which were old and in boxes. All were English “Bedford Plate” and “Rand” brand. A set of German "Solingen” chef’s knives in a magnetic case was also found in the flat.
