Gold medal hat-trick
NZPA ' Sydney New Zealand’s Derek Turnbull yesterday won his third gold medal in three days of competition at the World Veterans Games in Melbourne. Turnbull made it a hattrick by taking out the 60 years section of the men’s
5000 m in 17min 27.295. ’ The Southlander will have three chances to add to his medal tally before the Games end on Sunday. He is entered in the 10km cross-country run today, the 1500 m tomorrow and the marathon on Sunday.
