UNIVERSITY OF WW CANTERBURY PROJECTS MANAGER APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Projects Manager in the Buildings section of the University Registry. Candidates should have had experience in a broad field of maintenance and building work and hold qualifications such as the New Zealand Certificate of Building, Registered Clerk of Works or equivalent. They must be able to negotiate competently with architects, quantity surveyors, comercial contractors and local bodies as well as Heads of University departments. Duties will include the provision of effective maintenance of University buildings and the planning and supervision of various building projects. The successful applicant will become a member of the planning team for over-all building and site development. The salary for the position is within the range $31,827 to $36,805 per annum, according to qualifications and experience, in terms of Determination USIO (General Services Occupational Class).
