The figure was up $108,735 on last year’s total. On-course bets totalled $385,144 (down $18,057). Bets with the T.A.B. on yesterday’s Winton Jockey Club’s meeting totalled $444,761 (win and place $186,089, doubles $39,336, quineilas $75,720, trifectas $92,017, trebles $39,754). This was an increase of $165,989 on last year’s figure. On-course bets totalled $78,519 (down $13,143).
