BIRDIES AND EAGLES went out the window for an Amberley golfer Kevin Dewyer — ducks appeared to be more in his line of fire at the week-end. During a round of inter-club play at the Amberley golf course Dewyer teed off from the No. 7 hole with a strong 137 m shot but the flight of the ball was interrupted by a low flying duck which flew unsuspecting into the line of fire and was struck on the head. The surprised players hurried to the place where the luckless duck had fallen but it was too late and now dinner might well be served. .
