Australis bid on
The directors of Australis International say that they have received the notice of a take-over offer from Charter Corporation. An independent valuation of the terms of the offer has been sought, and the directors’ recommendation of “don’t sell” to
shareholders remained in force. The offer is four Charter shares for every five Australis shares, and four options for every five Australis options. Fractional entitlements would be settled by a cash payment of 30c for each Australis share and 7c for each option.
