Container theft charges
A motor-cycle shop proprietor who faces charges of stealing, and/or receiving, two shipping containers, valued at $12,000, was remanded, without plea, to December 15. Lindsay Alexander Williamson, aged. 30 (Mr B. S. Palliser), is alleged to have committed the offence between-; August
28 and November 26. Owen Frederick Good, aged 28, a forklift driver (Mr J. H. M. Eaton), was also remanded to December 15 on a charge of stealing the two containers, valued at $6OOO each, from his employer, Southern Containers, Ltd, about August 17. FRAUD CHARGES A former Postbank em-
ployee charged with misappropriating $78,414 was further remanded, without plea, to December 10 to enable a psychiatric assessment to be made.
Neville Arthur Childs, aged 37, unemployed (Mr R. F. B. Perry), is alleged to have committed the offences between March 1986, and last month.
