Prize win ‘stunning’
Winning first prize in “The Press” “Chorus Line” promotion was “stunning, unbelievable news” tor Mrs Jill Cosgrove. The mother of four has never before won anything. Mrs Cosgrove is a teacher of deaf children at Van Asch College, Sumner. At present she is completing a year course at teachers college on education of the deaf. She has travelled to the United States and Fiji but not to Europe. Her prize includes airfares flying Air New Zealand via Frankfurt, five nights paid accommodation, tickets to “A Chorus Line” in Paris and a dinner afterward. There were also 24 double passes to the Christchurch Theatre Royal’s performance of “A Chorus Line” drawn from the many entries from new subscribers to “The Press.” The prizewinners were: L. M.
