Jewellery, sports gear taken in burglaries

Jewellery valued at $8440 was stolen in a burglary of a Cashel Street flat on Sunday morning. The flat was entered through the back door between 10.55 a.m. and 12.10 p.m. The burglars went through most rooms and stole the contents of two jewellery boxes in a bedroom.
