Word 4.0
The latest version of the word processsor, Microsoft Word 4.0, Is now on sale in New Zealand. With a recommended retail price of $995 before GST, word 4.0 requires a minimum of 320 k of RAM and two floppy disk drives, or one hard-disk drive. An upgrade is available for registered owners at $235 before GST. ■ Enhancements of Word’s style-sheet facility, improved document management, direct importing of spreadsheets from 1-2-3, Excel, or Multiplan into a word document are other features. A superior keyboard macro language is also included.
