National president
A Wellington information technology consultant, Mr Phil Parnell, was elected president of the Computer Society at a national council meeting recently. Mr lan Mitchell, of Auckland, was elected vice-president. Mr Parnell is an associate director with the management consulting group, Price Waterhouse, where he has specialised in the use of information technology, systems strategy, and software evaluation for a wide range of industries in New Zealand and overseas.
