Finnpolaris, an Italian Antarctic research support ; vessel is due in Lyttelton at 3 p.m. today to berth at Gladstone Pier. The ship will be refuelled and then loaded with supplies for the Antarctic before departing on December 4. The Norwegian support vessel Polar Queen is due on December 19, and will be in port for fuelling before being loaded with supplies and leaving for Antarctica.
