Chch talent on parade
Delegates at the World Seed Congress held in Christchurch last month will be pleased seeds pack small, as many picked up some other samples of New Zealand produce during their stay. Fashions by designers were sehn by more than 200 visitors at a lunchtime parade at the Chateau Regency. Clothes changed hands after the show and names of outlets to visit later were jotted down. Included among the designs shown were leather by Caroline Moore for her Frenzi label, and linen by Gaye Bartlett. Both are Christchurch designers with a longtime involvement in. fashion. Their designs have an elegant understatement which makes them favourites among tourists seeking a lasting souvenir from their travels.
