Annual road race returns to university grounds

The University Club’s annual road race has returned from Wigram Air Base to its headquarters, the grounds and surrounds of the University of Canterbury. The 2.4 km circuit around the university drives provides an excellent surface with minimal vehicle traffic and should prove a very fast circuit

The first section for bigger clubs includes Technical, Old Boys-Te Kura and Papanui Toe H. The winner will be

eligible to compete at the national club final in Auck-

land at Easter. In Division 2 competition, a new event, there are five entries: Ashburton, Avon, Cashmere-Hillmorton, North Canterbury and Q.E. Athletic.
