Prison inmate still at large
The police are continuing to search for the Addington Prison inmate, Philip James Bartram, who fled in pyjamas from Burwood Hospital on Saturday evening. Bartram, aged 22, who is on remand for the aggravated robbery of staff of the Sherborne Dairy late last month, is still believed to be in Christchurch.
No further sightings have been reported of Stephen James Malcolm, wanted for questoning about a stabbing outside a Gasson Street, Sydenham, house on November 13. The police say Malcolm is dangerous and should not be approached. • A man allegedly indecently exposed himself to a tourist near the Canterbury Museum yester-
day afternoon. The man was in a white Avenger Alpine car when the incident occurred, soon after 2 p.m. The police spoke -to the occupant of a car nearby and arrested him for obscene exposure. The man, aged 23, will appear in the District Court on Monday.
