Price adjustments for different weight ranges

Notes: 1. The net beef export prices shown above in cents a kg carcase weight are calculated after deducting all levies (e.g. F.F., Meat Board, disease, extra A.C.C. charge). Transport still needs to be deducted. 2. To calculate the price for a weight range different to that indicated above, use the table to find out how much to add or subtract; e.g. for a 250 kg steer take off 6c/kg. 3. Spot premiums above these announced export prices are sometimes paid. Allowance has to be made for potential pool payments with some companies. 4. C. S.
