CEL offshoot maintains confidence
PA Sydney Continued strong demand for prime commercial property in central Sydney has given Corporate Equities — the Australian associate of Auckland-based Corporate Investments — confidence about its performance in the post-crash economy. The chairman of both companies, Mr Peter Masfen, told Corporate Equities annual meeting in Sydney that economic uncertainty in Australia and New Zealand after the sharemarket volatility would dampen business activity. However, the directors had confidence in Corporate Equities’ investments, "espeically noting that it appears that the demand for prime commercial property in the Sydney central business district continues to be strong.”
