S. McCann suspended
Shane McCann was suspended and Debbie Anderton was fined after two separate incidents In the Animal Remedies Handicap at the Southland meeting on Saturday. McCann, the rider of Don Bruce — first past the post was found guilty of allowing his mount to shift out and take the line of Hills Peak, second to finish. i
At a subsequent Inquiry, Hills Peak was promoted to first and Don Bruce was relegated to second. McCann was suspended up to and including Tuesday. : Anderton, the rider of Star Fraction In the same race, was fined $lOO for checking Headman soon, after entering the home straight :
