Cash, cheques stolen
Cash and cheques totalling nearly $3OOO were stolen in a burglary of Mount Cook Landlines, in Lichfield Street, early on Thursday. The burglars entered
the office and found the key to the safe, containing $2942.42. The break-in occurred between 1.40 a.m. and 6.45 a.m.
