‘Discord in Labour’
PA Wellington The Leader of the Opposition, Mr Bolger, said yesterday that “internal faction fighting” in the Labour Party had taken another step into the open with the release of a discussion paper on privatisation by the member of Parliament for Sydenham, Mr Jim Anderton.
Mr Anderton published a paper on Thursday attacking privatisation, which he said was aimed at stimulating public debate. “There is a certain irony in Jim Anderton publishing a document in opposition to his party’s ruling troika,” Mr Bolger said.
