Vacant DERMUMENT OF CONSERVATION SENIOR CONSERVATION OFFICER I (GRAPHICS/DRAUGHTING) THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION HAS a vacancy in its Dunedin regional office for a Senior Conservation Officer in the Graphics/Draughtlng section. General objectives of the position Include participation In the national management of draughting and related graphics undertaken by the department, provision of technical advice and a draughting and related graphics service within the region and to provide liaison with outside agencies on, the provision of technical services. The successful applicant should have proven experience in staff development and training, setting and maintaining work standards, oversight and costing of contract work particularly surveys and be familiar with survey and title records, cartographic and printing procedures and a working knowledge of computer system skills. A New Zealand Certificate in Draughting or equivalent tertiary qualification is required. Applications should be completed on form PSI7A quoting vacancy 9096 and close with the Executive Officer (Personnel), Department of Conservation, Box 10-420, Wellington, on Wednesday, December 2, 1987.
