Traditional and new carpets
Some of the carpets sold by the Carpet Market are exclusive lines.
This allows them to be bought in and sold at a good price, says Mr Keith Mills, owner of the Carpet Market.
“Bulk buying gives us a strong advantage in keeping our costs down,” he says.
The Carpet Market stocks a comprehensive range of carpet. They have the full range of Axminster by Feltex.
“We secured a good deal on Axminster which allows us to sell it at the best prices in town,” he says.
Axminister carpet is at the top end of the range, a traditionally made carpet people know will perform well.
Axminsters range from the traditional Persian style designs through to the new subtle pastels. The Carpet Market has bathroom carpet "at the best price in town.” The brand “Wistful” is a 100 per cent nylon Australian
carpet with many colour options. This is becoming so popular that people are buying if for houselots. Majestic is a decorator style of bathroom carpet which they sell. Today there are even outdoor carpets which are excellent for heavy tread areas such as porches and entrance ways. They are easy-care, have a non-slip surface and are unaffected by weather. Kencord and Kensquare are two different styles of 100 per cent polypropylene flooring which are very easy to install for do-it-yourselfers. They are unbeatable for performance and are used in commercial installations as well as domestic.
Kensquare, as its name suggests, has a pattern made up of squares, while Kencord has a cord effect.
Other carpets stocked include Stevens Bremner, Cavalier, Kensington, Pacific, and several Australian brands such as Victor, a wool carpet.
