Submissions on tower zoning slow to appear
A few submissions on the proposed Victoria Square zoning change to allow a tower have been received by the Christchurch City Council. The City Planner, Mr John Dryden, said yesterday that one or two submissions had been sent to the council. The closing date for
submissions was December 4. He did not expect most of them to arrive until the last few days. The council has proposed a change to its District Scheme to rezone Victoria Square a recreation development zone with provision for an observation tower.
