Kettle recall
Black and Decker is recalling all its KESO "Pronto” kettles sold in New Zealand because of the possibility of the terminal covers falling off.
A spokesman for the company said there had been some complaints about the covers by Australian purchasers, and if the terminal containing the kettle’s wires was exposed, this might make it
No problems have yet been reported in New Zealand, but Black and Decker wanted to replace all the covers as a safety precaution.
Kettle owners are advised not te use the appliances until they have telephoned the company, toll-free, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on week-days, and had them checked.
