PA Dunedin Canterbury surprised by finishing a disappointing fourth in the South Island interprovincial teams golf at Taierl during the week-end, Otago’s eight-man line-up tied with Tasman for first place after a countback of wins. It was Otago’s fourteenth success and Tasman’s first Canterbury matches: Otago beat Canterbury, 4U--3U (Otago names first): McDonald lost to B. Paterson, 4 and 3; Conlon lost to J.
