Drivers holding meetings

The first of a series of stop-work meetings for drivers was held in Dunedin yesterday morning and a meeting would be held in Invercargill today, said the national secretary of the Distribution Workers’ Federation, Mr Paul Kimble, yesterday.

“During the next fortnight Mr Jackson Smith, president of the Road Transport Division, will address stop-work meetings throughout New Zealand,” Mr Kimble said.
