343 kilogram woman dies
PA Wellington A woman weighing 343 kilograms (54 stone) died suddenly yesterday and the Upper Hutt police had to call in reinforcements to lift her body. The woman, aged 31, had come from a rural East Coast town to Upper Hutt to deal with her weight problem, a police spokesman said. It took 10 men to lift the woman, he said.
