Tour of studs
A comprehensive stud tour which includes inspection of 16 stallions standing in Canterbury this season, will be conducted by the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeder's Association on Sunday. ? . ■ The promotion has been heavily booked and association officials are pleased at the response. The tour leaves the Russley Hotel at 8.45 a.m. stopping at Prebbleton Farm before viewing stallions in the Ellesmere district at Roschana Fann. The interest in the tour reflects the growing interest in throughbred breeding in the district with several new establishments operating this season.
