Pero sets pace
The Christchurch-born lain Pero leads the Northern California motor-cycling competition in the open and 750 cu cm stock production class going into the final meeting at the Sears International Raceway in San Francisco. Pero stands an excellent chance of making the grand
finals to be held at the Riverside Raceway, Los Angeles, on October 11 and 12. The top three riders in the open class and the top five riders in the 750 cu cm class in each region are put together to find the top productMn rider in the United States. 4
