First round
St Albans will begin its defence of the Trust Bank Trophy against Marist at Hagley 1 when the C.C.A. first grade championship starts on October 3. The other first-round fixtures are between Riccarton and Woolston Working Men’s Club (Hagley 3), Sydenham and East-Shirley (Sydenham Park), BurnsideWest and High School Old Boys (Burnside Park), and Old Collegians and Lancaster Park (Ensors Road).
