Insulation products from market leader
Forman Insulation is New Zealand’s leading supplier of thermal and acoustic insulation, the company believes.
Established in Auckland 75 years ago, the company has long held to the business philosphy of maintaining and increasing existing market position while continuing to develop the perception of the company as the leading supplier, expert and authority in the New Zealand insulation market.
Foreman’s range can be broken into five areas — architectural products, acoustic insulation and noise control products, air conditioning products, building insulation products and industrial thermal insulation products. Armstrong acoustic mineral fibre ceiling tiles or panels are manufacA tured in a continuous process from mineral fibres. Each tile has a pattern on
one face. The tiles may be installed using a variety of exposed, semi-exposed or concealed suspension systems in new or existing buildings.
P. C. Glassblocks are used in commercial, residential and industrial buildings for non loadbearing exterior and interior wall panels, stairwell lighting panels, interior and exterior light transmission windows, security windows and skylight wells.
Stramit Woodtex has excellent sound absorption, thermal insulation and fire resistant properties as well as being highly resistant to mechanical damage or abuse.
Styrofoam extruded polystyrene foam board has a unique closed cell structure which provides a structural strength and water resistance unlike any other insulation pro-
duct. These properties provide a superior thermal performance which will remain constant throughout the life of the building.
Fire retardant acoustic foam is available in a variety of thicknesses and facings, including Mylar film and perforated vinyl. Acoustic foams are suitable for a wide variety of noise control applications.
Acoustone baffles are designed to be suspended where reduction of reverberation times is a requirement. Fibreglass factoryliner is intended for use as a wall and ceiling lining in manufacturing, warehousing, servicing and some commercial areas.
Fibreglass noise batts have been designed for installation in walls and partitions to control noise transmissions, and also perform very effectively as a thermal insulant.
Noise control blanket is used in staggered and double stud walls to reduce the noise transmission and absorb noise within the cavity of the partition or wall assembly, while Monocoustic ceiling panels are designed to provide both acoustic correction and thermal insulation in commercial and industrial buildings. Ductwrap is a highly efficient thermal insulating blanket of fine inorganic glass fibres for external application to all concealed and exposed round and rectangular air ducts.
For internal acoustic treatment of cold and hot air rectangular ducts, fibreglass duct liner/siliner provides excellent sound attenuation and thermal insulation and can be used on all rectangular cold or hot air ducts. Building insulation
blanket is a rolled blanket insulation specifically designed for application on flat or low pitched roofs using metal decking or asbestos cement roofing sheets. Also available are a full range of fibreglass batts, as well as sisalation foils, building paper, polythene, netting and waterproofing membranes. Included in this range are: armaflex; bradford rockwool; calcium silicate; ceramic fibre; fibreglass rigid pipe sections; fibreglass flexible equipment insulation; foamglass; formathane; foster products; fibreglass intermediate service board; insultube; glass fibre products; pipewrap; polystyrene; fibreglass rigid equipment insulation and refrasil products.
