Arson bid in Chch office
A deliberately lit fire caused minor damage to a vacant office in Epworth Chambers, Hereford Street, late on Monday morning. The fire was set among papers on a shelf and caused damage to surrounding woodwork. It set off a sprinkler, which put out the fire. The office was formerly
occupied by the Christchurch Unemployed Workers’ Rights Centre.
