Refit for KZ7
PA Wellington New Zealand’s America’s Cup challenger KZ7 was scheduled to return home last evening, the New Zealand America’s Cup Challenge spokesman, Peter Debreceny, said yesterday. The yacht, which went on to win the world 12 metre championships in Sardinia, is due to be
unloaded today and will be given a two-week refit before its first sail on Auckland Harbour .in Octdber. ’ < ? Mr Debreceny said It was .expected a special , ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron to present the trophies KZ7 won. in Australia and Italy.
