INDOOR BOWLS Hood Hay four takes Canty title
A Boon Hay Working Men’s Club four skipped by Martin Arney beat a St Paul’s four skipped by lan Kamo, 15-7, to win the Canterbury indoor bowls championship final at the Kearneys Road Hall on Sunday. . After six of the 12 ends the score was tied at 3-3, but Kamo’s team went out to a 7-3 lead after eight ends. Arney fought back weU to. draw level at 7-7, and scored two on the eleventh end to go ahead with one to play. Kamo killed the twelfth end and on the extra end was unable to gain the required six shots for victory.
