FUTURES
The Barclays share price index futures December contract was sold down sharply near the close yesterday, before staging a minor recovery. However, the contract was still dpwn on the day, compared with the previous session, losing 67 points in December to close at 4099. Mr Mark Thiele, a trader for Egden Wignail and Company Futures, said that the contract was following the bearish trend on the sharemarket “I still think it is a technical correction, and that the sharemarket and the contract will better previous highs.” JUS CONTRACTS Mth Open H/L Last Vol Contracts traded: nil Open positions at September 21: Nil (down 4).
