Super. to rise
Increased rates of national superannuation will apply from the first pay day in October. The new weekly rate for a married couple will be $251.34 after tax, an increase of $14.34. The new weekly rate for a single person will be $150.78 after tax, an increase of $8.62. The first payment of the new rates will be made on October 13. Rates of national superannuation are adjusted every six months.
