Town Planning CANTERBURY UNITED COUNCIL REGIONAL PLANNING SCHEME PROPOSED CHANGE NO. 2 - OVERALL REGIONAL PLANNING OBJECTIVES Pursuant to Section 17 of the Town and County Planning Act 1977, as amended in 1987, the Canterbury United Council. Council publicly notifies that it has adopted a Proposed Change No. 2, Overall Regional Planning Objectives to the Second Review of the Canterbury Regional Planning Scheme, Section 1, Settlement Distribution. This follows consideration by the Canterbury United Council of all submissions concerning the Draft Change No. 2 to the Regional Planning Scheme, Section 1, previously notified on March 31, 1987. The Proposed Change revises the Statement of Overall Regional Planning Objectives and changes the title of Scheme Section 1 from "Settlement Distribution” to “Overall Objectives and Settlement Distribution.” The Minister of Works and Development, or any local authority within or adjacent to the Canterbury region may, within three months, request the Planning Tribunal to conduct an Inquiry into any provision included in, or mat-A ter not Included in, the Prb-g posed Scheme Section. The Proposed Scheme Section may be inspected at the following places: 1. The offices of the Canterbury United Council, Fourth Floor, Civic Offices, 163-173 Tuam Street, Christchurch between the hours of 8.3(1a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (except holidays). 2.
